Rachna Acharya, Registered Nutritional Therapist, will be coming to Ardour to talk about the importance of protein and practical and sustainable ways to ensure you are getting enough good quality protein in your diet.
The session will cover:
• Why protein matters for everyone
• Sources of good quality protein (and the difference between animal & plant-based)
• Understanding how much protein you need
• Practical ways to increase protein intake
• Why more isn’t always better
It will be an interactive session with plenty of opportunity to ask any questions you have.
Rachna's Journey:
Rachna, a registered Nutritional Therapist, discovered the power of nutrition after putting her own Rheumatoid Arthritis and Autoimmune conditions into remission using diet and lifestyle. This ignited a passion to support people to optimise their own health through the right nutrition and lifestyle for them.
Rachna supports busy women to optimise everything from energy levels and joint pain to gut health and hormones through personalised nutritional therapy. She works with clients on a 1-to-1 basis from her online clinic.
Rachna holds degrees from Imperial College London and Cambridge University and, prior to retraining, spent many years in Whitehall working for The Ministry of Justice and HM Treasury. She trained in Naturopathic Nutrition at the award-winning College of Naturopathic Medicine and graduated with Distinction. She is a busy Mum of one, based in Hertfordshire.
Cost:
Free for patients of Ardour Clinic.
£50 for non-patients, redeemable against treatment at the clinic.

As a medical herbalist with an interest in women’s hormone health, Collette aims to provide education to help balance your hormones in midlife using the power of natural medicines.
Having personally navigated an early menopause in her late 30s, Collette’s passion is to support women with knowledge on the power and benefits of plants. These have been shown to help reduce symptoms such as hot flushes, mood swings, insomnia and fatigue.
